No additional charges on flight delays. Of course our employee will wait for you, all our employees are informed at all times for the arrival as well as changes that might occur and they wait for your arrival flight to deliver you the car. Furthermore there are no additional charges for flight delays.

You can rent a car in Crete if you are over 21 yrs for car groups A and 23 yrs for all other car groups. Especially for luxury category and Mini Bus the minimum rentals age is above 25 yrs old and have a license since 12 months. You can rent a car in Crete if you are over 23 years old and have a license since 12 months.

No, we don't charge a second driver.

Two things are required in order to collect your vehicle, a driving license and your passport or an ID. Sign the Rental Agreement to accept the rental terms, conditions and insurances.

Auto Trip has two refueling options available to meet your needs:

1) Same level of fuel Car has to be returned the same amount of petrol or diesel as it was delivered. 2) Pick up full / Return empty This type of fuel policy means that you will pick up your rental vehicle with a full tank of petrol and will be required to return the vehicle with the petrol tank empty. Charges for fuel are payable at the rental location when you collect your vehicle. As you are paying for your fuel in advance to make the most of the petrol you get (No refunds will be given for unused gas). we recommend returning the vehicle with as little fuel in the tank as possible

You can cancel your reservation without any cost up to 48 hours before picking-up our rental car.

The rates are based on 24 hour rental day starting with the hour you pick up the vehicle.

When you arrive one of our representatives will wait you with a note writing your name on. In cases of airport congestion we will call you at your cell phone and we will meet outside the building.

Pay on your delivery, No deposit is required to book a car except from the period between 01/06 until 30/09 (High season) you can pay before the delivery day by bank (we send you our bank details and you make the deposit). We accept Cash, Bank Deposits and the following credit or debit cards are accepted: Visa & MasterCard.

No, there is no need for a deposit, you can pay the car rental amount when we deliver the car.

In case of vehicle´s breakdown and if the vehicle is in no condition to be driven, you shall contact our offices (Heraklion: +30 694 480 77 29 or +30 281 024 35 20 , and we will send you our road assistance as soon as possible.

No, AutoTrip doesn't charge the second driver.

In case of an accident you give us a phone call at the 24hour phone number that is written on the rental contract and we will guide you through the whole process. In case of difficulty reaching us (no signal etc) call the international number 112 or the Greek police emergency 100. For more details read the INSTRUCTIONS-PROCEDURES IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT.

Yes, we do have GPS available for rent at €4.99 per day

Of course! A debit card as well as a prepaid card can be used to make the payment (the credit card's holder must be present).

The renter is insured for the rental vehicle damaged by accident with no obligation to pay any excess.

Insurance is voided when: All insurance coverings & waivers are valid provided that that the renter has complied with all terms & conditions. The renter is obliged to pay for repairing costs of any damage caused to the rental vehicle if the use of the car is not proper, as below:

• The vehicle is operated on any unauthorised road, non-asphalt road, dirt road or off-road (eg. Balos).
• The renter violates traffic rules (eg. road signs, speed limits, road direction).
• The renter ignores any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle.
• The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest or the vehicle is used for the purpose of reward (taxi or courier service).
• The vehicle is driven by any person disqualified from holding or has never held a driver’s licence appropriate for that vehicle or is not a registered driver in this agreement.
• The driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any drug that affects his ability to drive the vehicle.
• The vehicle is operated outside of the hire or any agreed extension of that term. The vehicle is willfully or recklessly damaged by the renter (note: burning out a clutch, sitting/standing on the bonnet/boot/roof of the vehicle, damages to the vehicle interior).
• Use of the wrong type of fuel.
• Damage done by animals.
• If the renter doesn't take all the necessary precaution measures for secure parking and locking of the car.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. In case of smoking inside the vehicle the renter will be changed a full cleaning of it at minimum 150.00 EUR.
