Auto Trip has two refueling options available to meet your needs:

2) Pick up full / Return empty This type of fuel policy means that you will pick up your rental vehicle with a full tank of petrol and will be required to return the vehicle with the petrol tank empty. Charges for fuel are payable at the rental location when you collect your vehicle. As you are paying for your fuel in advance to make the most of the petrol you get (No refunds will be given for unused gas). we recommend returning the vehicle with as little fuel in the tank as possible.

All traffic fines and appended administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic law during rental period, is solely the renter's responsibility and paid dy the renter.If any such administrative sanction is not disclosed to the company at the end of the rental period (contract), the violation will be charged to the renter.

You can cancel your reservation without any cost up to 48 hours before picking-up our rental car.
Our representatives are informed about times of arrival and alterations that could happen. They will be waiting for your flight to arrive at the airport for the car delivery, even in case of delays.
In case of the unfortunate event of an accident/breakdown resulting in the immobilisation of the vehicle, your car will be replaced with another one within 24 hours from the time the accident/breakdown has been reported. Our company has the right to investigate the causes of the accident/breakdown and deny the replacement of the car if the use of the car was against terms & conditions.

Shipping of Cars It is only allowed with the written authorization of AutoTrip.
Car models are a according to original booking, However on rare occasions we may have to supply a different vehicle.
Replacing a flat tire with the spare is clearly a responsibility of the driver, it is not covered by road assistance. Renter is not covered if insists on driving with a flat tire or with the overheat indicator.
Roof rack – 4 euro per day are available only for certain car groups.
All our cars keys are chip-coded and the replacement of them is costly and timely. In case of lost keys,
you will be charged with 80.00 - 100.00 Euros (depending on the car model) plus any associated transport
and time costs in order to get the replacement keys to you.
In the unfortunate event of an accident the nearest police station must be informed by the renter and an accident
report obtained at the real time of the fact. Also please let us know immediately.
"Without this report the renter is responsible for the full amount of the repairs!" With this report the renter responsibility is eliminated.
For vehicle drop-offs, a maximum tolerance of 30 minutes is allowed, after which, an extra day's rental will be charged.
For extention of the vehicle the customer has to inform us in due time before your rental expires. In case the customer does not inform us,
the expenses cause by the unconfirmed extention has to be paid by the customer upon return the rental vehicle.
The company services you 24 hours every day. If your reservation is in out of office hours (07.00- 22.30) there will be an extra charge of 20 euros payable on arrival.Returning the vehicle after-hours is free of charge.
One way rental will be charged 30 euros. For example if somebody rent the car from Heraklion Airport and return it in Chania Airport there is an extra charge 30 euros.
The price for the rental of navigator system is 5 euros per day.
Should the hirer decide to return an Auto Trip vehicle back to our branch earlier than you originally planned, we shall not refund you for unused rental days.
Book Now - Pay Later. Payment upon arrival by cash or credit card (at receipt of the rental car). No deposit is required to book a car except from the period between 01/06 until 30/09 (High season) you can pay before the delivery day by bank (we send you our bank details and you make the deposit). All insurance coverings & waivers are valid provided that that the renter has complied with all terms & conditions. The renter is obliged to pay for repairing costs of any damage caused to the rental vehicle if the use of the car is not proper, as below:

- The vehicle is operated on any unauthorised road, non-asphalt road, dirt road or off-road (eg. Balos).
- The renter violates traffic rules (eg. road signs, speed limits, road direction).
- The renter ignores any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle.
- The vehicle is operated in any race, speed test, rally or contest or the vehicle is used for the purpose of reward (taxi or courier service).
- The vehicle is driven by any person disqualified from holding or has never held a driver’s licence appropriate for that vehicle or is not a registered driver in this agreement.
- The driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol or any drug that affects his ability to drive the vehicle.
- The vehicle is operated outside of the hire or any agreed extension of that term. The vehicle is willfully or recklessly damaged by the renter (note: burning out a clutch, sitting/standing on the bonnet/boot/roof of the vehicle, damages to the vehicle interior).
- Use of the wrong type of fuel.
- Damage done by animals.
