Satisfied customer"These 4,9 stars are really well deserved. The best offer I could get, we have been picked up directly by the gate and the car was ours within 3 minutes! No km limit, option of the second driver for free, comple insurance without any extras and prompt reply to our emails at any time! My girlfriend and I rented a Fiat Panda 1,3l for the duration of 12 days and it was a perfect size for a couple traveling around Crete even to numerous of hidden beaches. In Crete saying "as more beautiful beach as worst road" and our Pande it to everywhere! Litsa from Autotrip was already waiting with a white board with our names by the arrivals at the airport, we walked 2 minutes to the car, paid and that was it! No transfer to the office with a bug parking lot, no waiting! Our return flight got delayed by 4 hours and it was not a problem for Auto trip to return our car simply later than planned without any extra charges. We returned the car simply to the same place and left. The easiest way to return the car ever :)"

In the near future, the new airport in Kastelli close to Heraklion will be a big fact. When this huge project is completed, then the old airport will no longer operate. It will be the second largest airport in Greece after Athens and will be able to manage from three to four times more visitors than Heraklion airport.
The nearest gas station to the airport is BP located at Ikarou Ave 115 after about 200 meters. It’s on the way to the city, open 24/7, and can be reached in less than two minutes. Some other petrol stations on both sides are only a few hundred meters further.
In order to cover the all increasing needs, a new airport is being constructed at a new site in the region of Kastelli and it is scheduled to open its gates the summer of 2025 according to plan.
